Sanandaj New Year (Nowruz) ceremony

Three ceremonies were held in the Ferdowsi sidewalk of Sanandaj for new year ceremony (Nowruz). First ceremony was Traditional- ritual ceremony and it included playing Dol and Serna (Kurdish traditional instruments), traditional Kurdish dance, and moving Beautiful and attractive dolls. Second ceremony was arrangement of Haftsin table. Haftsin is an Iranian and Traditional ritual for new year in which Iranians put some fruits and vegetables -that the first level of their words are started with s in Persian language like apple, coin in the table.

Third ceremony was special program recording for new year ceremony (Nowruz) In the park which was recently opened and it broadcasted in the local Kurdish channel in Kurdistan province. It was full of Energy, joy, and attractiveness for audiences. This event was designed with the aim of strengthening the cultural life in the city and strengthening all the stakeholders of the creative city of music and is one of the routine programs of Sanandaj Municipality in the celebrations of the beginning of the solar Hijri year. It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of the New Year, Nowruz celebration is held among all people and all walks of life in the city and village with various rituals.
