Daegu

Bridging Continents Through Sound

Emerging from the vibrant indie scene of Daegu, South Korea, post-rock band INAEKKUM embarks on a landmark European tour starting April 28. As a representative of a UNESCO Creative City of Music Daegu, the band will perform at three major international stages:

  • April 30 | Belfast: At the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, strengthening the bond between two kindred music cities.
  • May 3 | Liverpool: At Sound City, the UK’s premier independent festival and a legendary gateway to global stardom.
  • May 6 | Norrköping: A final stop in Sweden’s hub of innovation, where historical industrial echoes meet the harmonious future of music.

The Faces of INAEKKUM

The band’s rich, layered sound is built on the strong teamwork and emotional connection of its four members:

  • Min Wooseok:Vocals & Bass
  • Kim Taeyang:Guitar & Chorus
  • Choi Wonmin:Synthesizer
  • Lee Wangdong (314):Drums

The Power of Sincerity

Free from genre constraints, INAEKKUM creates soundscapes that are an honest exploration of identity and everyday life. Their music captures moments of joy, loss, and growth without pretense, creating a unique, evolving interaction between the band and the audience.

“Indie to Glocal”

This tour embodies the vision of “Indie to Glocal,” proving that powerful artistic exchange can flourish outside capital cities. By engaging globally, INAEKKUM aims to open new pathways for regional artists and foster a sustainable local music ecosystem.

With their second full-length album arriving this September, the band’s mission remains simple: to create human-centered music that resonates honestly with the world.
