40 musicians from 24 countries work with local iniciatives

Frutillar

Under the direction of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (DRCLAS) of Harvard University and in partnership with PLADES Foundation, 40 musicians/ social entrepreneurs shared three days of work with a group of organizations from Frutillar. This initiative is within the framework of the Global Leader Program (GLP) that brings together musicians from 24 countries in order to develop skills and tools related to social innovation.

In this context eight organizations linked to different dimensions of local development (Municipal Culture Department, Community Department of Teatro del Lago, German Colonial Museum, Factoría de Oficios, Frutillar Creative Learning, AG Culture and Tourism Chamber, Puerto Octay Boats and Visión Amable), were the subject of the work and advice of these committed musicians who took the time to develop new perspectives and strategies for organizations to implement during this year. With this type of experience, Frutillar takes charge of making a valuable cross between the world of the creative industry and the sustainable development of the city.
