100//Faces

Kazan

On February 1, 2020, Kazan launched a Children’s Arts Competition called “100//Faces”. Its participants are pupils of music and art schools of the Republic of Tatarstan. The competition will bring together more than 1000 children from different parts of Tatarstan.

In 2020, young musicians and artists can participate in the competition in 20 different branches of art. In the summer, the competition winners will present their works for residents of Kazan in parks and garden squares of the city as part of the Cultural Environments Project.

The “100//Faces” project was included in the application of Kazan for joining the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, as one of the local initiatives aimed at enhancing the role of culture and children’s creativity in the sustainable development of the city.
