OzAsia Festival – Margaret Len Tan, Singapore

Margaret Tan performed as part of the 2016 OzAsia Festival. Inspired by her mentor, the legendary John Cage, Margaret Leng Tan is the world’s first professional toy piano virtuoso. A major force in the American avant-garde music scene, Tan uses an array of small instruments and found objects including the toy piano, music boxes, two-note paper accordions and even a bicycle bell, to create her unique blend of music theatre.
